The general objective of the project:

Increasing the access of the vulnerable population, including Roma, to integrated medical services for the prevention and treatment of priority diseases for public health (COVID 19 and Tuberculosis) through the development and implementation of an integrated program of prevention, early diagnosis, treatment and monitoring at the level of vulnerable communities in the county. Mures.

Specific objectives:

OS1: Improving preventive health services by implementing a simultaneous screening program for two infectious-contagious diseases with predominantly airborne transmission: COVID-19 and Tuberculosis for at least 1000 people, including 200 Roma, belonging to vulnerable communities in Mures county, in in order to ensure a fair access to medical assistance during the implementation period of the project, 18 months.

OS2: Improving the health infrastructure by rehabilitating the TB Dispensary Tg. Mures, a building intended for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis and equipped with an X-ray machine.

OS3: Increasing the level of awareness and education of the vulnerable population in Mures county regarding the importance of preventive health services regarding the spread, prevention and treatment of the two infectious diseases by organizing an information campaign for the target group about the basic notions of hygiene to prevent infectious diseases.

OS4: Increasing the quality of medical services in Mures county by training medical personnel on ensuring the access of the vulnerable population to medical assistance in order to reduce social inequalities in Mures county.
